How does one Recertify their HRCI Certification?
-HR professionals who hold HRCI certifications (PHR, SPHR, GPHR) are required to recertify their designations every 3 (three) years.
Recertification requirements are as follows:
- 60 General HRCI Credits
-15 Business / Strategic HRCI Credits
-45 General HRCI Credits
-15 International / Global HRCI Credits
-45 General HRCI Credits
Webcasts via HR.com run for approximately one hour each, and following participation will yield 1 HRCI Recertification credit. Thus, an individual looking to recertify their HRCI certification would be required to watch 60 1-hour webinars over the course of 3 years in order to recertify.
Webcast Credits vs. eLearning Credits?
-The HRCI states that an individual can only use 20 Webcast Credits towards their recertification. This is because Webcast Credits are considered “passive learning” (there is limited interaction between the webinar presenter and the attendee). The HRCI allows an individual to use up to 60 eLearning Credits towards their recertification (resulting in a completely online recertification process). eLearning credits require an individual to complete a short multiple choice quiz at the end of their webinar, which will essentially test their understanding of the content which was covered in said webinar. As a result, there is no limit as to how many eLearning credits one can use towards their recertification.
How to Complete your Recertification:
-As per the HRCI Recertification requirements above – one can complete their entire recertification by attending/viewing 60 webinars in eLearning format. For each completed eLearning credit, the individual will receive a “code” - which can then be submitted to the HRCI for approval.

instead of paying $45 just google unconscious bias
Someone reading off a power point for 45 min and at least 10 or 15 min is basically an advertisement for Everwise. Not a good value, you'd learn as much from a quick google search.
