Most learning teams aren’t short on tools or content. They’re short on the time, budget, and capacity required to manage overlapping vendors, disconnected systems, inconsistent data, and content gaps across a fragmented learning environment. But effective consolidation is not simply replacing several vendors with one. Done well, it reduces administrative complexity and redundant spending while preserving the choice, relevance, and flexibility learners need.
Drawing on customer and partner perspectives, this session will explore what meaningful consolidation looks like in practice: how integrations with existing systems extend what teams already have, distinguish a true platform partnership from a surface-level connection, and what to look for when evaluating consolidation as a strategy.
Attendees will leave able to:
- Identify where vendor sprawl creates hidden cost and friction, including duplicate spending, manual administration, disconnected learner experiences, inconsistent reporting, and content coverage gaps.
- Distinguish a meaningful platform partnership from a basic technical integration by evaluating workflow, data, content access, service, and ongoing support.
- Determine what should, and should not, be consolidated and ask sharper questions about fit, adoption, value, and long-term flexibility.
