Smarter PDF-to-course generation in Simon

One of the fastest ways to build custom training is to start with the documents you already have. With the latest updates to Simon, creating courses from PDFs is more accurate, more intuitive, and requires less manual editing, so you can turn internal knowledge into learner-ready training faster.

Here's what's new:

  • Course outlines stay closer to your source material. Simon now preserves more of your original wording and follows your PDF's heading structure when available, creating outlines that more accurately reflect your document.
  • More of your content makes it into the course. Simon can now capture information from tables, as well as many charts and infographics, helping preserve important context from documents like SOPs and process guides.
  • Images are easier to use. Images from your PDF are automatically added to the Asset Manager, so you can quickly find and reuse them while building your course.

Whether you're converting standard operating procedures, onboarding guides, product documentation, or internal processes, these enhancements make it faster to transform existing knowledge into engaging workplace learning.
