Hello! My name is Emma Holland and I am absolutely thrilled to join the OpenSesame community as their new Office Wrangler!
Northwest truly is best, and I am happy to be working for such an incredible local company. Before starting with OpenSesame, I was a bit of an adventurous nomad and spent my time working and living everywhere from the deep South, the Northeast, and also overseas in villages of Southern Uganda.
Coming from countless years of customer service and administrative experience, I am thankful to be back in a startup office community. I have dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Appalachian State University of North Carolina in Theatre and Dance respectively. When I am not working on coordinative tasks in the office, I can be found on or off stage as a performer and technician for local theatre. Currently, I am in rehearsals for Grease the musical with Broadway Rose Theatre Company, though you may not be able to recognize me under my curly pink wig!
Throughout my free time, I am one typical Oregonian who enjoys riding my vintage, 10-speed, roadster throughout Portland and drinking my cold brew coffee in a park. If the rain keeps me indoors, I am perched somewhere listening to records and reading just about anything you can find in the Blue Room at Powell’s.
It is with great enthusiasm that I join the OpenSesame team, and I truly look forward to what the future has to offer!
